The weather will be hot and sunny in the sectors of the St. Lawrence River valley, while a Humidex 37 is expected in the north of Montreal, particularly in Saint-Jérôme.

In the center of the province, Environment Canada predicts an alternation of sun and clouds, but the humidity will be felt in Quebec and Saguenay as well as in Estrie.

The Bas-Saint-Laurent and the Côte-Nord will be relatively spared, since the mercury will not exceed 20 degrees with some showers in places, according to the federal agency.

Temperatures should return to normal for the season as of next week, or even Sunday evening, with in particular a noticeable presence of clouds in several sectors.
