The 2022 work calendar in Valencia contemplates a total of fourteen paid and non-recoverable holidays at the state, municipal and local levels. Thus, the next non-working day in which work will not be done will be Friday, June 24.

This holiday, as stipulated in the 2022 work calendar approved by the Generalitat Valenciana, is framed as a celebration of the festival of San Juan, which has been included in the list of non-working days at the regional level due to the historical and cultural importance of the Hoguesas de Alicante.

Thus, Friday June 24 will be a holiday in Valencia and in the rest of the Community, unlike what happened last year, when the work calendar stipulated it as a paid and recoverable day, for which the workers who decided not to going to their post had to make up the hours at a later date.

In this way, when Friday falls, Valencians will be able to enjoy a new bridge or long weekend after the last ones experienced by Holy Week and Easter. In addition, the summer will have another holiday according to the 2022 work calendar in Valencia, specifically, on Monday, August 15 for the Assumption of the Virgin.

Below are all the paid and non-recoverable holidays that are pending until the end of the year in Valencia:

-August 15, Assumption of the Virgin.

-October 12, National Holiday of Spain.

-November 1, Feast of All Saints.

-December 6, Constitution Day.

-December 8, day of the Immaculate Conception.
