The people in Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland can expect mild and changeable weather after the Christmas holidays. Tuesday starts with clouds that could partly thicken and partly loosen over the course of the day, as the German Weather Service (DWD) announced in Offenbach in the morning. It will remain largely dry with highs of between four and nine degrees. It can occasionally rain on Wednesday night, with temperatures falling to four to zero degrees. In the mountains, the DWD expects stormy gusts of up to 70 kilometers per hour, which should last until morning.
On Wednesday it will initially be cloudy and a little rainy, later the weather will clear up a bit. With maximum temperatures of between five and eleven degrees, the cold winter weather is staying away for the time being.
