Two men attacked a supermarket in Edemissen (Peine district) late Tuesday evening and fled with the loot. According to the police on Wednesday, the two perpetrators forced the staff at gunpoint, among other things, to get cash from a safe. According to the investigation, they are also said to have used the cash register in the sales room. One of the men also sprayed tear gas, but no one was injured. Officials have not yet released any details about the extent of the damage.
