A 63-year-old driver crashed his car into a tree on New Year’s Day in the Osnabrück district and died. According to the police, the man died at the scene of the accident near Bad Rothenfelde. It was not clear why the vehicle left the roadway. The county road was closed for several hours on Sunday afternoon.
