Some words have a different meaning in the vastness of the universe than on earth. “Relatively close” is the planet that astrophysicists found outside our solar system, the American space agency Nasa announced this week. It is 41 light years from Earth. Now 41 light years is small compared to the diameter of our home galaxy, the Milky Way. However, if you convert the distance into kilometers, the result is an unimaginably large and unattainable distance with 14 zeros. By “near” most people mean something else.
