Where in the vernacular every bean produces only a measly little sound, the legume could have sounded the starting signal for the obligatory formation of groups in the jungle camp. Because even on day four, the food scandal from the previous evening, carried out between the “overly loud transmitter” Verena Kerth (41) and the “constantly smiling receiver” Jana Pallaske (43), heated up numerous minds. On the other hand, thanks to Luigi “Gigi” Birofio (23) and Tessa Bergmeier (33), happier customers came up in the starry sky – albeit only for a short time.
The fact that the vegetarian and vegan group around Jana enjoys supposed advantages in the jungle, Verena continued to go against the grain. Even more, however, she etched against the deliberately considered way in which Mrs. “Urkraft” had classified her the day before. “She says I talk so aggressively. No! I just talk like that. I just have a little more energy.” And as a consequence, she has now become a “leper” in the camp. Claudia Effenberg (57) is also becoming increasingly suspicious of the spiritual roommate – because of the constant grin: “As if you were on some pills. That’s not natural.”
On the other side of the camp, with Team Grinsebacke, Verena was of course the topic of conversation: “I just feel this great insecurity in her,” says Jana. “Now the barrel is open. She’s the specialist, the teacher who explains to us all the time how the jungle camp works […] I only get hatred from her and I try to be open all the time. ” Cecilia Asoro (25) and “Gigi” agree and strengthen Jana’s back: “You said what many think here,” the TV macho attests to the “Magic Girl”.
It is a thorn in the side of two participants that the catering in the camp is already an ordeal for many celebrities on day four. On the one hand, model Papis Loveday (46) feels compelled to show his fellow campaigners the relations of their whining: “Don’t fight about food. Please! Children die in Africa because of food and you fight here because of food. My goodness! That’s it ridiculous!”
On the other hand, Djamila Rowe (55) reports real hunger that she had to feel as a small child. Because her grandparents, with whom Djamila grew up, were alcoholics and spent all their money on addiction, she “didn’t even have bread at school. I then often did the homework for others, in return I got their food, I know so from a young age what it’s like to go hungry. It opens up old wounds.”
This time the jungle test was called “doll horror”. Narrow, dingy rooms, various animals with sometimes more, sometimes less legs – quite a jungle camp standard. In addition to the long-term tester Tessa Bergmeier (33), “Gigi” was able to prove himself this time. At least the snakes didn’t cause him any problems – in fact, the knots that had to be untied to win the star turned out to be his biggest challenge: “I only recently learned to tie shoes!”
Tessa tackled her fourth challenge much more shakily. Overall, the result was finally impressive – seven out of twelve stars promised more sumptuous fare for the starving campers for the first time. But instead of celebrating together when the food was handed over a little later, the victorious duo preferred to get angry. Tessa immediately did what has now become her trademark: pouting and scolding, she once again ran away while “Gigi” also put on thick panties, befitting her status. The two will probably no longer be friends in this jungle life either.
By the way: Everyone could have even quarreled over a richer yield by a hair’s breadth. Djamila and Cosimo Citiolo (41) were sent on a treasure hunt as double bees, solved the joint task with surprising ease and brought the treasure chest they had earned to the camp together. Only a 50/50 question separated the celebrities from the delicious contents of the chest – and that’s exactly what the assembled troupe messed up.
The biggest surprise came at the very end: Surprisingly, the RTL and RTL audience was lenient with Tessa and let her off the hook for day five. Instead, in the exam, Jana will have to use her “primal power” as best as possible to ensure that there is plenty of food. Maybe there will be an extra bean then.
