Third division soccer team Hallescher FC remains undefeated and without conceding a goal under their new coach Sreto Ristic. The people of Halle drew 0-0 from TSV 1860 Munich on Friday evening in front of 8,582 spectators in the Leuna-Chemie Stadium. By winning the point, the Saalestadt team left the relegation zone for at least 24 hours.
The Munich side, on the other hand, remained without a win for the fifth time in a row and suffered another setback in the fight for promotion to the second division. The “lion” fans provided the negative highlight of the game. The sovereign leading referee Richard Hempel had to interrupt the game for four minutes after an hour because the spectators in the away block burned pyrotechnics.
The hosts started very courageously and bravely played forward. Andor Bolyki was saved by Munich goalkeeper Marco Hiller in the second minute. Erich Berko (23rd minute) did not head the ball from a promising position on the opposing goal. But the home side could not create any other good chances despite optical advantages. There was no sign of the guests for half an hour. Then Marcel Bär exchanged freely in front of Felix Gebhardt, but failed because of the brilliantly reacting goalkeeper.
After the change of sides, the game rippled along for 20 minutes before the hosts again put the first offensive accents. However, Hiller saved two shots from Tunay Deniz (65′, 69′). Bolyki (66th) chased the leather after a back pass from Berko from eight meters into the evening sky.
At the other end, Erik Tallig (70′) missed the great opportunity to lead the visitors when he shot the ball straight into Gebhardt’s arms from eight yards out. Hiller saved Munich’s draw with a brilliant save from Deniz’s free kick (90′).
