Shortly after the smartphone manufacturer Samsung launched its new flagships, the Chinese competitor Xiaomi followed suit: The Xiaomi 13 Pro 5G is in the starting blocks. As with Samsung’s Galaxy S23, there are three models: the Xiaomi 13 5G, the Xiaomi 13 Lite, and the Xiaomi 13 Pro, available for pre-order starting March 8th. But is it even worth it? Here we show what pre-order bonuses there are and what the alternatives to the Xiaomi smartphone look like.
With the Xiaomi 13 Pro, the Chinese manufacturer joins the ranks of top smartphones and even competes with Apple and Samsung. Anyone who is toying with the idea of buying a new premium mobile phone will get a decent alternative to the Samsung Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus with the 13 Pro 5G from Xiaomi. The large 6.73 inch OLED display, the 50 megapixel triple camera from Leica and the 4,820 mAh battery with quick charge function are clearly top features. At o2 you can pre-order the Xiaomi 13 Pro (and the other two models of the 13 series) up to and including March 8, including the contract.

The details of the offer:
Deal check: 54.99 euros per month is of course a lot of money. However, it’s worth taking a second look: If you add up the costs for the smartphone and subtract the current RRP price of 1,299 euros for the Xiaomi 13 Pro, you get a monthly price of around 20 euros for the contract. This is also a fair offer because there is a free instant photo printer that can be used to print out cell phone snapshots. For anyone who doesn’t want or can’t spend the purchase price for the smartphone in one fell swoop and would like to print out one or the other photo anyway, it’s worth combining it with a contract.
A disadvantage of the Xiaomi 13 Pro 5G: The user interface MIUI 14 is based on Android 13 – but does not appeal to everyone. If you prefer to be in Apple’s technical cosmos anyway, you can rely on the iPhone 14 Pro when it comes to top smartphones. This is currently available on Ebay in the color gold at the best price for 1098 euros.

With the 13 Pro 5 G, Xiaomi joins the top league of premium cell phones. The smartphone should be able to keep up with competitors such as Samsung and Apple, especially when it comes to the camera. With an RRP of 1,299, the cell phone also has its price. Anyone who wants to save can take the chance and pre-order the smartphone for one euro with a contract and Xiaomi Instant Photo Printer free of charge from o2 up to and including March 8, 2023.
