Anyone who hears the name Neureuther probably immediately thinks of winter sports and skiing. Felix Neureuther now shows that this is still the case in the third generation: In a video on Instagram, the former ski racer and gold medal winner now shared photos of his five-year-old daughter – and they are quite impressive.
In the short video, Matilda Neureuther can be seen skiing down a slope with a good swing. There seem to be minor problems for only a short time, but Matilda is able to absorb them well. Otherwise, the girl is doing like a real pro.
The comments below the video are correspondingly positive. One user, for example, writes: “It looks like Olympic gold in the giant slalom in 2042”, others allude to the successful careers of Felix Neureuther, Miriam Neureuther and Grandma Rosi Mittermaier and only briefly write “Generation 3”. Bayern star Thomas Müller also agrees with this opinion and comments on “Next Generation”.
Overall, Neureuther’s video already has more than 170,000 likes, making it the post with the second most reactions – behind his emotional farewell post from mother Rosi Neureuther. According to Instagram, the video has already been viewed more than 2.2 million times.
Apparently, the Neureuther family still needs to talk about who Matilda inherited her talent from: Miriam Neureuther speaks up and writes “You can see correctly: everything learned from mom”. But the parents of the possibly next German ski star should certainly be able to talk a little more about that…
