The Champions League remains a bubbling source of money for the bonus FC Bayern Munich. The European Football Union (UEFA) awarded a further 10.6 million euros for reaching the quarter-finals with a 2-0 win over Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday evening.
The German record champions have increased their premium income this season to 89.02 million euros. Bayern have won all eight games in this Premier League season.
If they won the title, they would come up with a total of 121.52 million euros. In addition, there is also the viewer income from the home games and distributions from the market pool, each in the double-digit million range.
Getting into the semi-finals would bring in 12.5 million euros. In the final on June 10 in Istanbul, the winner receives 20 million euros from the UEFA bonus pot, the loser receives 15.5 million.
