The Şahins have to stack because their apartment is so tiny. They added a second level of wood to the hallway. There is a wardrobe upstairs. The children sleep next to them, four, seven and nine years old. The parents fold out the sofa in the living room every evening.
The Şahins have decided on this one-room apartment in Frankfurt so that they can afford vacations, the cinema from time to time or even a visit to the amusement park. An old building with paneled doors and warm wooden floorboards. Five of them live in 40 square meters. At least the ceilings are four meters high.
