Lower Franconia: Burning wedding decorations: suspected arson

The decoration for an upcoming wedding in Lower Franconia has been set on fire. The police said it was initially unclear who set the fire in Königsberg in Bavaria (Hassberge district). The five bales of hay and three labeled boards were set up in the town center on Monday and caught fire a few hours later. According to current knowledge, there is no evidence of a personal motive. However, the police suspect arson. According to the authorities, the wedding celebration will only take place in the next few days and was therefore not prevented by the fire.
