After weeks of strong spread of the coronavirus in Germany, the momentum now appears to be slowing. There are increasing signs of a decline in Covid-19 activity, report experts from the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) in their weekly report.
This applies, for example, to the viral load measured in wastewater. The number of cases confirmed in the laboratory has also fallen, although, according to the RKI, this number is limited due to the Christmas holidays.
