Saxony-Anhalt enters the second weekend of January in foggy, cloudy weather, black ice and a storm on the Brocken. As the German Weather Service in Leipzig announced, some snow or freezing drizzle will fall on Friday at minus one to plus two degrees. It can get slippery. In the high altitudes of the Harz, the sun still shines at times between minus three and plus one degree. Occasional sleet can also be expected on Saturday night.
According to the forecast, the unsettled weather will continue on Saturday with occasional rain or sleet and plus one to plus four degrees. Sunday will therefore be very cloudy at plus one to plus four degrees. Showers will fall partly as rain and partly as snow.
