The fact that Bayern Munich’s new coach Thomas Tuchel wants to bring another assistant to Säbener Straße in Anthony Barry has apparently not gone down well with his club FC Chelsea. At least that’s what the English newspaper “Telegraph” reports.
A transfer fee would be due for Barry, who had already worked under Tuchel at Stamford Bridge. At his presentation in Munich, Tuchel said that he wanted to continue working with his proven assistant coaches Arno Michels and Zsolt Löw. He still hopes that he can also guide Anthony Barry to Munich as another assistant.
“My coaching team wasn’t prepared either, so a big thank you to the flexibility and euphoria of my assistant coaches and their families. Arno Michels and Zsolt Löw, who have been working with me for over ten years, will be there,” said Tuchel.
