FC Bayern Munich wants to get into a good starting position for the second leg in the quarter-finals of the Champions League against Manchester City. Bayern are visiting the English champions today with coach Pep Guardiola and star striker Erling Haaland.
In his premier class debut for Munich, coach Thomas Tuchel has to do without attacker Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, who is missing due to knee problems. An alternative for the striker would be Sadio Mané, who turned 31 on Easter Monday.
For the eleventh time, Tuchel and Guardiola meet as coaches. The German won the final in the Champions League 2021 and thus the most important duel with Chelsea 1-0 against Man City.
