Brandenburg Education Minister Britta Ernst is resigning. The 62-year-old SPD politician said this in a statement on Monday afternoon.
Born in Hamburg, she has been Minister for Education, Youth and Sport in Brandenburg since 2017. She has been married to Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz since 1998.
