The water friends Spandau 04 finished the main round of the women’s Bundesliga in first place. After a 23:7 (5:2.6:1.7:4.5:0) win at Blau-Weiss Bochum on Sunday, they start the playoff semi-finals from an optimal position, for which they are directly qualified. Opponents in the semifinals will be Eimsbütteler TV Hamburg or Waspo Hannover. In the second semi-final, Bayer Uerdingen and the winner from Bochum face off against SSV Esslingen. Ira Deike (8), Una Lou Dörries and Anne Rieck (4 each) were the most accurate players in the win against Blau-Weiss Spandau.
