In a raid on a luxury jeweler in Paris, unknown perpetrators made millions. The three men pulled up on motorcycles in front of the jeweler on the chic Place Vendôme in central Paris on Saturday, the newspaper “Le Parisien” reported, citing the police.

While one of the perpetrators was on guard, the other two went into the store, one of whom hit the guard on the head with a gun and disabled him. The men then grabbed as many pieces of jewelry as possible and sped off on their motorbikes. Apparently they had the wrong number plates.

Around a dozen employees and a few customers were inside the store during the robbery. The loot has not yet been precisely quantified, but amounts to several million euros, investigators told the newspaper. In a raid on the same jeweler in September 2021, a group of perpetrators stole pieces of jewelry worth around ten million euros. The police have since identified some of those involved.
