Holidays with dogs – what would be better than a camping trip? This type of travel is flexible and close to nature. On more and more campsites, four-legged friends, masters and mistresses can look forward to dog-friendly facilities such as a dog shower or a dog beach.
The camping portal “camping.info” has determined which campsite in popular European travel countries is best suited for a trip with man’s best friend. On the booking portal, holidaymakers can not only rate their overall impression of the campsite, but also to what extent it is suitable for dogs. Campers can rate dog-friendliness with up to five stars.
“The detail pages for the campsites provide information about what equipment is available for four-legged friends,” says Maximilian Möhrle, managing director of the booking portal. However, if you want to go camping with Bello or Fiffi, you shouldn’t waste too much time booking, advises Möhrle. Many dog-friendly campsites are booked out early, especially in the high season.
