The Swiss Martin Näf loves to travel. The 67-year-old educator has traveled to many parts of the world and got to know countries that are too dangerous for many people. Well, that doesn’t scare you. His travels have taken him overland to India via Turkey, Iran and Pakistan, and at other times to the Congo via Morocco, Mauritania, Mali and Burkina Faso. Näf has been blind since he was twelve and has been in a wheelchair for around ten years after suffering a stroke. In an interview with stern, he explains what is particularly important to him when traveling.
