In a rather unusual way, a 48-year-old man tried to get an alcoholic drink in an Italian pizzeria. The man showed up at a pizzeria in the northern Italian community of Casnate con Bernate on Friday evening with a large python around his neck and asked for something to drink, police said. He also had two huge dogs with him.
When the waitress and the innkeeper sent him outside, he turned around, but appeared again shortly afterwards – this time with a gun in his hand. According to the police, another guest managed to drive away the man, who was apparently drunk. Investigators later confiscated the weapon at his home – a very real-looking toy gun. Nevertheless, he ended up with a criminal complaint. He legally owned the large python.
