Your eyes are itching again and your nose is running: for millions of people, tree and grass pollen is a torture and climate change is a particularly unpleasant development. Because higher temperatures change the flowering times of plants that cause allergies. A few mild weeks at the end of the year were once again enough last year to wake up the hazel catkins in December and blow their pollen through the air in yellow clouds of dust. But this is by no means the only development that allergy sufferers will regularly experience in the future.
