Shots were fired when a firearm was fired during a chase in London, slightly injuring two uninvolved women. The victims, aged 27 and 36, have now been released from hospital, police said on Saturday in the British capital. A 27-year-old pedestrian who was hit by the escapees on a moped also left the clinic.
Police officers chased two people on a moped in Clapham County on Friday afternoon who did not respond to requests to stop. During the pursuit, the vehicle crashed into a passer-by and soon fell to the ground, the police said. “Officers determined that one of the suspects was in possession of a shotgun, which discharged when it fell to the ground while the suspects fled on foot.” There have been no arrests so far, it was said on Saturday afternoon.
