For the price overview, the association asked the local and regional energy consultancies for the prices offered by craftsmen. The result: The average prices for air-to-water heat pumps rose from 20,000 euros in 2021 to 31,000 euros this year. Pellet heating systems increased in price from 27,000 to 37,000 euros in the same period. But the price for installing a gas floor heating system also increased from 6,000 to 10,000 euros.
In part, the price increase reflects the increase in raw material and energy costs. But part of the cost increase is certainly also due to the huge demand. “The market is overheating,” said Materne. However, there are big regional differences.
