According to a media report, Bayern player Harry Kane wants a decision in transfer poker about his future this week.
If FC Bayern and Kane’s previous football club Tottenham Hotspur cannot reach an agreement this week, Kane will initially put a change on hold, the English newspaper “The Telegraph” reported. The Munich team are therefore considering making another offer for the star striker after Tottenham rejected the last record offer.
According to information from Sport1, the Premier League club requires a higher base fee. Tottenham are said to be demanding £100m (€116m) for their goalscorer. The portal “The Athletic” wrote that the two clubs were around 25 million pounds (29 million euros) apart in their ideas about the transfer fee for the 30-year-old England national team captain.
The German champions reportedly made their third offer for Kane last week, totaling around €100m, while giving Tottenham a deadline of Friday night. The Premier League club let this pass, and on Monday the Munich team was rejected again.
Tottenham start the new Premier League season on Sunday. According to information from the “Telegraph”, Kane rejects a change after the start of the season. The striker’s contract in London expires next summer. The Spurs, led by club owner Joe Lewis, are not prepared to give up their striker on a free transfer. This would mean that Kane would either have to sign a new contract at Tottenham or switch in the winter at the latest.
