It starts again. On August 13, the responsible Paul Ehrlich Institute released the first 6.5 million doses of flu vaccine against influenza for the coming 2023/24 season. The syringes will soon be available in practices to be vaccinated little by little.
The recommendations of the Standing Vaccination Commission (Stiko), based at the Robert Koch Institute in Berlin, for preventive flu protection are unchanged compared to previous years:
