Hoch Olenka will ensure nice and dry late summer weather in Germany in the coming week. “The sun shines widely from morning to night with at most harmless veil clouds,” forecast meteorologist Tobias Reinartz from the German Weather Service in Offenbach on Sunday. With one caveat: “In the nights fog can form locally, but this is quickly “heated away” by the sun in the course of the morning.”

Reinartz promised that the meteorological autumn, which began on September 1st, will “follow nicely behind the astronomical summer.” According to the calendar, autumn begins on September 23rd.

Olenka will be setting up across Central Europe next week, Reinartz announced. Temperatures rise to 25 to 32 degrees. The summer weather is expected to last until next weekend. However, the temperature level is expected to drop slightly again on Sunday and there may also be precipitation again.
