My three-year-old daughter’s first words when she opens her eyes in the morning: “I’m soooo hungry.” I quickly turn on the stove and cook her some porridge, sometimes with bananas, sometimes with berries. On special mornings I sift some cocoa powder over it.
But on the weekend we take our time. The coffee service in bed runs like clockwork, there’s Babyccino on the bedside table. Then I prepare a warm breakfast, which I vary weekly.
