Eagan, Minnesota: Jordan Addison Talks Offseason Progress, Confidence in Vikings QBs
A barefoot Jordan Addison, the Minnesota Vikings’ second-year receiver, addressed the media following a voluntary Organized Team Activity (OTA) practice. Having impressed as a rookie with 70 catches for 911 yards and 10 touchdowns, Addison is now focused on enhancing his performance further. He emphasized the importance of building trust with quarterbacks and making their job easier by being a reliable target on the field. With a better understanding of Head Coach Kevin O’Connell’s offense, Addison feels more prepared to excel in his second season.
One area of improvement Addison has targeted this offseason is his releases off the line of scrimmage. He emphasized the significance of being decisive and having a plan when facing defenders. Addison credited Vikings receivers coach Keenan McCardell for his development in his rookie year and expressed gratitude for the coach’s guidance as he continues to refine his skills for the upcoming season.
