Klimarådet will help policy-makers to find solutions that can quickly help to settle the klimaloven.

– But there are also other things to take of.
– There are tools we can apply to agriculture, to the heavy transport and in fact the rest of society, which you can start immediately, says Klimarådets president.
As part of the klimaloven, who on Friday evening met with support from a majority in parliament, it is agreed that Klimarådets must be provided with extra resources, and that the council go from having six rådmedlemmer to eight members.
– The additional members means that we in the Klimarådet can be even wider complex and carry out the very complex role, as it is to divert to Denmark to be climate-neutral society.
– And the extra funds to Klimarådets secretariat of the finance is totally necessary to be able to solve the gigantic task we face, says Peter Møllgaard.
