Previously, the Danish people’s Party explained their involvement in the Sign and Feld-the matter with, that it’s all about formalier, and that it has been a bit of a rodebutik.
But after the recent revelations keep the explanation no longer, considers political commentator Jarl Cordua.
“When we are approaching the fake invoices, then starts the lights really flashing. So, one can no longer explain it, you have spent some money on something you are not supposed to, and refer to, that it’s just a rodebutik, and it’s about formalier,” he says.
this is Why Earl Corduas judgment about what the new revelations could mean for Morten Messerschmidt and the Danish people’s Party, is quite clear:
“probably It is the most unwelcome in the Danish people’s attempt to redeem the party after the election. That is the worst christmas gift they could get,” he says.
DR News could be late Saturday reveal that a false invoice on the 375.000 dollars included in the Bagmandspolitiets (SØIK) investigation of the Sign and of the Feld case.
the Invoice is dated 30. march 2015 and addressed to Morten Messerschmidt and his then adviser, Kristian Wederkinck Olesen. But the communication agency Primetime, if bank account details, vat number and contact info is listed on the invoice, rejects the over for the DR, that they are the sender.
“We can clearly say that we have neither performed the task, received the amount specified, prepared, or sent this invoice, which incidentally contains a number of obvious deficiencies in relation to the way we normally bill on. In other words, this is a false invoice, of which we nothing know,” writes managing partner Casper Hyldekvist from Primetime to DR News.
According to Ekstra Bladet, several contracts, where the Danish people’s party, the administration manager, Jeanie Nørhave, recorded as employed at the hotels, where the party has held sommergruppemøder.
The new revelations, think Jarl Cordua, makes the whole matter even more penibel, because ‘the Danish people’s Party have been so busy with that accusation OLAF (the EU’s antisvindelenhed, red.) in order to pursue the party’.
“I think that all the red lights stands and blinks at the Danish people’s Party right now, and it will be very difficult to explain with all sorts of evil people are out after them,” he says, and continues:
“But as things stand now, it is hard to see what OLAF has done. It is the Danish people’s Party, who have messed up in it here. Those who have not been able to explain himself. It is the Danish people’s party staff and elected officials, who have had all the responsibility. Yet you sit and accuse an independent entity in the EU, if the work is to investigate the matter,” says Jarl Cordua, who states:
“It will be difficult to explain to voters, which is just a little bit critical. There are many questions which the management of the Danish people’s Party owes the public an answer.”
Neither the DR or the B. T. has Sunday morning had the opportunity to get a comment from Morten Messerschmidt himself, but the Danish people’s party leadership writes to DR:
“We are aware that the authorities have such an invoice, but do not know from where it originated, and under all circumstances, be seen not to be paid, why in each case not used EU funds to cover the expense.”
Messerschmidts former adviser, Kristian Wederkinck Olesen, whose name also is on the invoice, rejects the over for the DR to know for the bill.
