half A day after the victory over FC Copenhagen is Uwe Rösler finished as a coach in Malmö FF.
“This is fundamentally my decision,” said the coach itself.
The Swedish club has been told of the decision at a news conference Friday morning, after the club on Thursday went further in the Europa League with a 1-0 victory in the Park.
the Club says that the management and Rösler are in disagreement about the future direction of the club.
“Uwe came to me to discuss the future, and in connection with the discussions, it emerged that we do not agree on which way the Malmö FF should take in the future,” says the team he will play Daniel Andersson:
“But although we have different views on the club’s way forward, separated we are as friends.”
the Season in the group have won … is long since finished and ended up with a second place finish – one point after the civil war, who won the gold. Thursday’s battle in the Park was therefore the last one of the year.
Already prior to the Swedish 1-0 victory, which meant that Malmö FF went on in second from the group stage in front of the FCK, it was rumored in the media that the fight would be Röslers last.
“We have yet no successor ready. It will of course be a challenge to replace Uwe with the idea of the results he has had. The process of finding a new coach is underway, and will of course try to get it in place as quickly as possible,” says the team he will play Daniel Andersson on Friday.
It is far from the first time that the leadership of Malmö stands out with a trainer on top of a success. In 2016, did the Danish Allan Kuhn, the Swedish club, Swedish champion, but was subsequently fired.
the dane’s successor, Magnus Pehrsson, was fired a few months after to have won the championship.
the 51-year-old Rösler has been the head coach in several Norwegian and English clubs, in 2018 took office in Malmö FF.
