the Government is in dobbeltild. Both the red and the blue parties rages over the ydelseskommission, the government reduced on Tuesday.

“the Point is that the commission must reduce child poverty. But it must be udgiftsneutralt, so it will say that other unemployed or sick will pay,” says the Unity rapporteur Victoria Velasquez.

“the Commission maintains spending at the level the previous government cut it down to. They saved a billion on the field, and it will not change by Mette Frederiksen, who otherwise call themselves the children of a minister,” continues Victoria Velasquez.

Even if the cost does not rise, is the Liberal party’s vice-president, Inger Støjberg, just so disappointed. Poor danes going to pay for the higher benefits to foreigners, she believes.

“the Government will raise benefits for the unemployed foreigners, and those who must pay are the danes, who temporarily need assistance from the public – for example because they are sick,” she says.

you Ought not be happy that the government will not spend more money on the area?

“We believe not, benefits must be increased for foreigners. We halved the benefits, because we will be a less attractive country of asylum, and we also believe you should support yourself when you get here,” says Inger Støjberg.

the DF is agreed:

‘the Government’s ydelseskommission is a ommer. We want to give more money to foreigners, which is taken from the danes at the edge of the labour market,’ writes DF-president Kristian Thulesen Dahl on Facebook.

SF’s beskæftigelsesordfører, Karsten Hønge, call it in a press release ‘grotesque’, that the recommendations should be udgiftsneutrale. And he is ‘speechless’ over, that the government has not consulted with SF in the formulation of the terms of reference.

minister for Employment Peter Hummelgaard (S) says in a press release:

“Children in Denmark should grow up under decent conditions and with the possibility to be an active part of the community. And it needs a new kontanthjælpssystem support.”

“But the solution is not simply to remove kontanthjælpsloftet without replacing it with something else. For cash assistance should be a temporary benefit, and there should be a noticeable difference between being on welfare and in work,” writes Peter Hummelgaard.

the Government does not need a majority to establish a commission. But it must have it, when the legislation must be in place.
