The carnivorous part of the population has been such about out that Danish Crown has run out of roast pork four days before christmas.
It writes the Danish Crown, in a press release.
The last common flæskestege will be delivered to the supermarkets 23. december, but the more exclusive products such as krogmodnede, gourmetsaltede and organic flæskestege is sold out from the fødevaregiganten.
‘We have had an increasing demand on the exclusive flæskestege of kamsteg, and even though we have done everything we could to produce the most possible up to christmas, so are they totally gone now,’ says Torben Pedersen, who is responsible for the sale of fresh meat in Danish Crown in the press release:
‘We can’t deliver before christmas, so there is only the back, as the supermarkets have got now.’
even Though the Danish Crown in 2019 and extended the capacity to produce their finer flæskestege, they have not been able to live up to the demand.
Although flæskestegene is sold out from the manufacturer, the last consignment to be to find the next days in the supermarkets, notify the Danish Crown.
