The airport of Alicante-Elche has been evacuated and the arrival of flights has been closed because of the fire of one of the covers of the passenger terminal. Sources of the airport have informed Efe that the eviction has been carried out as a precaution shortly before the 15 hours, and that has already been evacuated both to passengers and workers.

As reported by Aena, the firefighters have managed to control the flames and work on the ventilation of the area affected by the fire. In the tasks of extinction have helped fire fighters of the airport, as well as endowments of the parks of San Vicente of the Raspeig and Elche, according to the Consortium of the Provincial Council of Alicante.

Aena has confirmed that the incident has not caused the injured. The fire, indicate the same sources, have been forced to divert four flights. Three planes have landed at the airport of Murcia and one in Valencia.
