Iberdrola has announced the filing with the Courts of Bilbao, a new criminal complaint for a crime of falsehood against Jose Antonio Del Olmo as the alleged author of the Report published in El confidencial the past few days on 2 and 3 December. Del Olmo, who had held the post of director of Corporate Functions within the Directorate of General Administration and Corporation, involving the management of the company in the recruitment of the commissioner retired Jose Manuel Villarejo to work in espionage.
After an internal investigation that has been carried out by the Compliance Unit, the document has not been located in the files of the company, according to the company that presides over Ignacio Sánchez Galán. The company ensures that its alleged author “has not collaborated at no time in the elucidation of the facts, despite having been requested on several occasions to do so, has not recognized neither their writing nor their issuance, and their potential receptors, as they have declared to the said unit, nor have had knowledge of the same and, if any had, they would have taken the appropriate action”.
