Thomas Tuchel had changed his traditional costume back into training clothes. After a perfect Oktoberfest weekend that saw him take over the top of the table, the 50-year-old definitely wants to avoid FC Bayern’s next cup hangover with new signing Daniel Peretz in goal.
“A classic cup constellation,” said Tuchel the day before the first round match against third division soccer team Preußen Münster. “We want to go to Berlin, we want to get to the final and to do that we have to win the games step by step,” said Tuchel two days after Harry Kane’s goal show
Peretz, who was signed by Maccabi Tel Aviv for five million euros in the summer, should not normally get much work on Tuesday (8.45 p.m./ZDF and Sky) in the Preußenstadion.
