In Osnabrück, the police had a major operation at a school. Only after the end of the operation did she give the reason: “The reason for the operation was the indication of an armed person who was supposed to be in the area of the school center,” according to a press release. “Two 14-year-olds were arrested on school grounds who were carrying an airsoft gun.” The school was searched by special forces because of information about a third person. There are no injuries, and follow-up work by school psychologists and teachers is ongoing.
Shortly after 11 a.m., the Osnabrück police wrote on
“There are NO injured! The students are being protected by the police. There have been no arrests so far. We are still on site with many forces to clarify the situation,” wrote the police at 12:13 p.m.
