The Bundesliga match between Borussia Dortmund and FC Bayern Munich will take place on November 4th. The game between the runner-up and champions will kick off on Saturday evening at 6.30 p.m. (Sky), as the German Football League announced in its schedule for match days 9 to 13.

The current leaders Bayer 04 Leverkusen will welcome Champions League participants 1. FC Union Berlin on matchday 11 (Sunday, November 12th, 3:30 p.m.). The late exact scheduling was met with criticism in fan circles: “Not even 3 weeks until the match days that are no longer scheduled. Fans cannot plan. It is impossible to organize travel to the games. We recommend: Don’t let the Supercup take place Cup weekend will take place,” was what the fan alliance “Our Curve” recently said in the news service X.

The background is that the Supercup duel between FC Bayern and RB Leipzig (0:3) took place on August 12th – the DFB Cup competition started on that weekend. The Munich and Leipzig team therefore only played their first round games at the end of September, which in turn pushed back the cup draw and league planning.
