The CDU was able to gain 7.6 percentage points in the election compared to 2018. The AfD also improved significantly by 5.3 points. The SPD, on the other hand, suffered bitter losses of 4.7 points, achieving its worst result in the state’s history. The Greens also lost significantly with 5.0 points, as did the FDP with 2.5 points and the Left with 3.2 points.
