On Wednesday afternoon around 2:30 p.m. a fire broke out on the grounds of the Heide Park Resort in Soltau. A spokesman for the Heidekreis fire department told “t-online” that an empty administration building at the entrance area was on fire, but that there were no people inside.
About 100 firefighters are trying to extinguish the fire. The amusement park grounds had been evacuated, as Heide Park announced on its Facebook account. Visitors were taken to their cars and had to leave the theme park.
