Tragic road accident on the A7 motorway, in the Drôme, on Monday evening. Five children were killed and four other people, three adults and a child who were in the same vehicle, remained in absolute emergency, said the prefect Hugues Mouthou to Agence France-Presse.
These are all members of the same family, said the prefect, to the effect that the accident had occurred in Albon, in the South to the North. “It is an output of the road in a field”, he detailed, citing the trail of a technical problem. The ministers of the Interior, Gérald Darmanin and Transport, Jean-Baptiste Djebbari are expected on site in the coming hours, said the prefect.
