DeSantis will be packing by 2022 For the Naples reader concerned about the Ladapo appointment. Is there anything we can do? No. No. I am an independent registered voter and have no obligation to any party. Do you feel the same? We have a chance of removing our current governor in 2022. He was the one who appointed Ladapo. He was the one who called the special meeting to oppose federal mandates, and to repeal the University of Florida faculty’s right to free speech. Send him packing next November.

Physicians back vaccine mandates Joe Biden, our president, is pushing for COVID vaccinations for all employees and health workers of large corporations.
Ron DeSantis, our governor, is determined to stop this. He has the support of a majority in Florida’s Legislature.
Who’s right?
The following statement was issued by the American Medical Association on July 26:
Get vaccinated against COVID-19
More than 96 per cent of U.S. doctors had been vaccinated as of June 11. Five months later, it would be higher.
You might consider consulting over 240,000 doctors if you are unable to decide whether or not our president and governor are right.

Republican turncoats, pork barrel politics Biden Build Back Better bill, what an embarrassment. 13 Republicans compromised principle and voted in favor of the bill early this month. These 13 turncoats voted for Biden’s Build back Better bill. These turncoats voted in favor of the pork bill that Biden promised would be granted to their districts. These turncoats were simply bought off by old-fashioned pork barrel politics.
They should be censured by fellow Republicans for joining the ranks of Pelosi and Biden. They should be removed form any committee assignments.
What will the Biden Build Back Better bill do? It will first cause shortages and increase the cost of construction products like wood, steel, cement, and aggregate. Recent increases in wood prices have been offset by recent declines caused by the housing boom. These price drops are not likely to last. This will lead to runaway inflation due to shortages of skilled and material labor. You can expect the inflation ride of a lifetime. We are grateful to Republican turncoats.

Different attacks, different results As a 9 year old, I still remember the events of Dec. 7, 1941. This date will be forever etched in my memory. This quote was made by President Roosevelt after the sneak attack on Pearl Harbor (Hawaii) by the Empire of Japan. 2,403 U.S. personnel died and 1,143 were hurt. Our Pacific fleet was destroyed.
Roosevelt, a Democrat turned his back on the attack. He declared war against Japan. He was responsible for protecting our country, as every president is. Another Democrat, President Truman won the last battle and ended World War II. He also protected our country.
We have been allowing a sneak attack by people who want to destroy our legal immigration system for many years.
This invasion was stopped, reduced, and managed by President Trump’s administration with the support of Mexico.
Biden, a Democrat and current President, has abandoned border enforcement and opened floodgates to all who claim asylum.
The Japanese could have entered America without resistance if they had been more patient and waited until Biden (2021). Today, we are giving up our country, history, and language without fighting.

Biden negotiates with infrastructure to win What has Joe Biden done? There has been a lot. Although the previous administration tried to pass an infrastructure bill, despite having the majority of the Senate and House, it was not possible. Joe Biden signed bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, which was supported by Republican senators Mitch McConnell and Lindsey Graham, after working with Republicans and skillfully negotiating and compromise. Why would they do this? It is good for the country. According to NBC News Miami, Florida will receive $19 billion to build roads and bridges, rail lines and projects to reduce sea level rise. It will also get broadband access and help transition neighborhoods from septic systems to sewers. This is a huge benefit for homeowners as it increases their property values and protects the aquifer that we all depend on for our drinking water. The funding also covers restoration and protection of aquatic ecosystems, which is the goal for Captains for Clean Water. It is a huge win for Florida as well as for the country.
