The storm is expected to strike the region Wednesday and bring rain (or snow) through Friday. For many counties, the National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch.
These cities have imposed parking bans since Monday:
Newburgh Heights The city announced Wednesday’s ban will be in effect for 48 hours.
Port Clinton – A snow emergency has been issued for the City. It will be in effect from Wednesday, 8 a.m.
Sandusky – Residents who park their cars on the emergency snow routes will be asked to move them before the storm hits.
Sagamore Hills – The city’s parking ban will be in effect from Wednesday, 5 p.m. to Friday, 1 p.m.
Wellington The city is asking residents to make arrangements for parking their vehicles somewhere else than the streets from Wednesday to Friday.
Residents who park their cars on streets in cities that have imposed parking bans could face a ticket or even a tow. These bans were put in place to make sure snow plows can remove snow faster and more efficiently from roads.
