In one fell swoop, Peugeot is renewing its entire range of light commercial vehicles. Partner, expert and boxer get a new design and new technology. Even if combustion engine versions are still available, the new electric drives are the focus of vans. In 2025, the Stellantis offshoot wants to offer at least one electric version in every model and from 2030 onwards, at least in Europe, they want to switch completely to electric drives. This is often easier with vans than with many cars, as the average daily driving distance for most businesses is less than 200 kilometers. In view of operating costs, tax breaks and impending entry restrictions, more and more companies are considering switching from diesel drives to electric models. The three new vehicles with the E-Partner, E-Expert and E-Boxer models are attractive with these advantages. Peugeot also offers a complete range of service and maintenance contracts for them for up to eight years and 200,000 kilometers. Stellantis expects that half of the European van market will be electrified by 2025.

The new Peugeot E-Partner – either 4.40 or 4.75 meters long – is powered by a 100 kW / 136 HP / 270 Nm electric motor on the front axle. With its 50 kWh battery pack, the electric range is 330 kilometers; However, it can only be recharged with up to 100 kW. Five hours pass on an eleven kilowatt wallbox and the top speed is 130 km/h. By installing the batteries under the floor, the loading volume of up to 4.4 cubic meters is retained. The payload of 780 kg is offset by a towing capacity of 750 kg. Inside there are improved ergonomics, a steering wheel with shift pedals for recuperation, various assistance systems and a new ten-inch touchscreen. As an alternative to the electric drive, the Peugeot Partner is also available with a 110 hp petrol engine or 100 and 130 hp diesel engines.

The same electric drive with its 100 kW / 136 HP also powers its big brother, the Peugeot E-Expert. In addition to a range, the transporter, which is either 4.98 or 5.33 meters long, offers 6.6 cubic meters of loading volume, a payload of 1,263 kilograms and a trailer load of up to one ton. The customer also has the choice of whether to opt for the small 50 kWh battery pack or the larger 75 kWh version, which extends the range from 224 to 350 kilometers. Also in the program for the variants with a driver’s cab (five or six seats), a standard cab and a standard or long combination space with nine seats: a model with a fuel cell and diesel with 120, 145 and 180 hp.

The Peugeot E-Boxer, which is powered by a 200 kW / 272 HP / 400 Nm electric motor, offers significantly more power. Its battery pack in the underbody ensures an electric range of 420 kilometers and, with its maximum volume of up to 17 cubic meters, makes the van fast at up to 130 km/h. The electric boxer has three driving modes that can be selected on the instrument cluster to adapt the performance and range of the vehicle depending on the situation: Normal for versatile use (160 kW), Eco (120 kW) or Power (200 kW). Four levels of regenerative braking can be operated using the rocker switches on the steering wheel. The maximum charging speed: 150 kW. If you don’t want an electric drive, you can opt for diesel drives between 120 and 180 hp – also with an eight-speed automatic if desired.
