The Montreal team announced on Friday that it had also reached an agreement with seven other choices made in the 2022 draft. Among them are wide receiver Vincent Forbes-Mombleau and linebacker Yanis Chilhat, formerly of the Rouge and Gold from Laval University, then defensive back Tysen-Otis Copeland, who wore the colors of the Carabins of the University of Montreal.
In the case of Richards, a 23-year-old Ontarian, he can play as a linebacker, but also as a defensive end and on special teams.
