The quest for an exceptional image remains a constant challenge. Every time I hit the road to complete a project, regardless of the subject, I live in hope that the elements come together to capture a picture that stands out. In my opinion, photography is a rather particular art. We are not inventing anything. It is above all a game of interpretation, technical mastery and understanding of light. Capturing exceptional weather phenomena or unique reliefs gives me a lot of satisfaction. Now with the presence of drones in the photographic universe, the possibilities have literally exploded!

In full exploration of the Kiamika reservoir, with an area of 184 km2 in the Upper Laurentians, my guide takes me to a distant island, called Île Louise. The Kiamika Reservoir is bordered by many white sand beaches and includes some forty islands and islets. Arrived on site, I decide to use my drone. After a few photos here and there, I take the camera to altitude to admire this place as a whole. Immediately, I notice a hole in the forest. Once above it, I see a small body of water in the shape of an eye. Very surprising ! The reflection of passing clouds completes the illusion perfectly!
