Queen Elizabeth II personally inspected her horses at the Royal Windsor Horse Show. The horse lover was beaming with joy at the traditional event in the park of her residence, Windsor Castle near London.

The 96-year-old had canceled the opening of parliament ceremony in London on Tuesday due to health problems – only for the third time in her 70-year reign. Heir to the throne Prince Charles represented his mother. It was then speculated that the Queen would not come to the Horse Show either.
